Leading Donors
Through a multi-year $375,000 investment, the Hazelwood Group of Companies is supporting the expansion of our Free Food Market program at the Regional Food Centre and beyond.
Through a $5 million investment, the Government of Canada, through PacifiCan, is supporting the development of the Regional Food Centre in Nanaimo.
The Province of British Columbia has invested $7 million to support the construction of the Regional Food Centre in Nanaimo.
The Regional District of Nanaimo is contributing $95,000 to support early development of the Regional Food Centre.
The City of Nanaimo is supporting the development of the Regional Food Centre by purchasing land for the facility and providing a 30-year lease at a nominal rate.
